When the wind is calm, the water is clear and the fish are BITING LIKE CRAZY.

Our daily creel limits are very liberal here in Louisiana. You may keep 15 speckled trout over 12" and 5 redfish over 16" and one over 27” each day. Each fisherman is allowed two speckled trout over 25" each day.
Generally Lake Calcasieu is 4′ to 6′ deep in most areas. There are some very shallow reefs in some areas that should be noted.
