HOT WEATHER CONTINUES TO BE DOMINANT AS GOOD CATCHES COME TO THE DOCK
Check out these pictures from last week as our dry spell continues. A few solid trout came to the dock last week along with some oversized redfish. Live shrimp and finger mullet are the best baits for this condition. We could use some rain here along the coast; call Tanya at 888.762.3391 and get in on the bite while its on.

NORTH HOUSTON POLE LINE EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION TOURNAMENT
Every year for the past 22 years NHPL honors their employees with a weekend appreciation trip here at the lodge. Lots of fishing, fun, food and fellowship highlighted the weekend. 2 cans blackeye peas, drained
1 med jalapeno pepper, minced
1/4 white onion, minced
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/3 cup Italian salad dressing
2 tbs ground cumin
HR&G seasoning to taste
1/4 tsp cayenne red pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Serve chilled with your favorite chips or crackers
