STUFFED EGGS WITH CRAB MEAT
As you might expect here at the lodge everyone loves deviled eggs especially when we make them Hackberry Rod & Gun style. We have a local lady here in Hackberry that provides us with the freshest and sweetest crab you have ever eaten and we can’t wait to serve it. Check out this super recipe and enjoy it many times.
- 6 hardboiled eggs cut crosswise
- Salt & pepper
- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- Pinch of garlic
Mix crabmeat, egg yolks and remainder of ingredients. Fill egg whites with crab meat mixture. Eggs may be decorated to look like little baskets by using sliced lemon rind for handles, with a little piece of parsley at each end of rind. Serve on lettuce.
