GOOD WEEK IN THE MARSH FOR HUNTERS GUIDES AND DOGS
Gadwall, Teal, Pintail and Canvass Back ducks dominated our week here in our Cameron Meadows marsh. Our hunters shot up to par harvesting over 160 of the beautiful Canvas Back drakes. Many of those will find their way to the taxidermist shop to find their way to the wall. Total for the week was 1051 ducks that our hunters brought down to the decoy spread. Now is the best time to take the opportunity to come experience a gentleman’s hunt in one of the best privately managed marshes in the country. We only have 21 days left in this year’s season so call toll free at 888.762.3391 and get in on some of this action.
Here are a few pictures from over the week and you can see them all by clicking here: Photo Gallery
WEATHER HOLDS FOR REDFISH AND TROUT
Most all of our guys have been fishing from Turner bay to the big jetties. Low wind has kept the water mostly clear and easy to fish tight line soft plastic lures. The best have been little johns, hackberry hustlers, as well as Berkley gulp and Down South Paddle tail lures. Just about any color will work as long as it has a chartreuse tail. None of our guys have been fishing up north of the inter-coastal but I have heard there are lot of fish around the 210 bridge and Prien lake area.

As most of you know we serve homemade banana pudding most all year around when we are not serving our famous Bread Pudding. Yesterday up in the kitchen Tina decided to whip up of the delicious concoction and I did my part (eating it). Thanks Tina
Ingredients

2 cans cream
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 tbs cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups water
1 bag vanilla wafers
Directions
Cook cream, sugar, eggs, water, and vanilla for 30 minutes until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat. Add cornstarch with a little water or milk. Mix well. Slice bananas on top of pudding.
