LIME-GARLIC-CILANTRO SHRIMP

Living in Hackberry we have access to the freshest seafood in the world and shrimp is one of the best. You are going to love the recipe and will cook it over and over again. This is a very healthy way to cook shrimp.

DO NOT OVERCOOK

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of large shrimp peeled
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup of margarine
  • 4 tsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 cup fresh chopped cilantro

Instructions

Wash shrimp and arrange in a single layer in a 10″X15″ inch baking dish. In a small sauce pan sauté garlic in margarine until tender. Remove from the heat and stir in lime juice, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over the shrimp and broil until shrimp are pink and tender. Mix the chopped cilantro in the dish near the end of cooking time. Serve right out of the broiler – YUM YUM
