CAJUN BBQ SHRIMP

Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional for extra spice)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Season the Shrimp:
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning to coat evenly. Set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and are just cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Finish the Dish:
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat the shrimp through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
- Garnish the shrimp with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with a side of rice, crusty bread, or over pasta.
