SPICY BEAN AND BACON SLAW

Ingredients

  • 3 cups very thinly sliced cabbage
  • One 16 oz can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup (4 oz) finely diced cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 2 tbs minced parsley
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • 5 crisply cooked bacon sliced, crumbled

Directions

Combine all ingredients except bacon; toss lightly. Chill. Toss and top with bacon to serve.
